About Kids’ CBC

Weekday mornings from 7 a.m. to 12 noon, Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. EST and Sunday mornings from 6 to 8 a.m., Kids’ CBC features entertaining, educational programming that encourages preschoolers to be creative and optimistic, solve problems, get along with others and, above all, have fun!

At Kids’ CBC, we’re all about letting children take the lead and explore their world, while feeling secure and confident enough to do so.

About Get Set For Life

Get Set For Life is a joint venture of Kids’ CBC, Invest in Kids and Canadian Living and Coup de pouce magazines, generously supported by the Lipton and Sunlight brands. The partners work together to bring the message of positive parenting to Canadian parents across the country in a national media and marketing campaign. The animated Zap Family are the campaign’s ambassadors and are featured in television programs, print ads and product packaging in typical parent-child interactions as models of positive parenting. Mother and Father Zap use Comfort, Play & Teach: A Positive Approach to ParentingTM in their interactions with the younger Zaps to resolve some of the challenges they face. This approach builds on the everyday activities that are part of parents’ daily routine to help them support their children’s healthy development. It was developed by the experts at Invest in Kids who specialize in translating the science of child development and parenting into practical, easy-to-understand information and ideas for parents of children aged birth to 5 years. The fundamental message conveyed through the Get Set For Life campaign is that when you comfort, play with and teach your children you open a world of possibilities.
