 Battle of the Brains

Original in approach, Battle of the Brains pits over fifty of the most prestigious Canadian corporations against each other in a rousing game of mental gymnastics. Companies that compete day-to-day in the marketplace, rise to the challenge of a friendly and spirited battle of wits. Since 1994, Battle of the Brains has raised over $2.5 million in support of Canada's youngest children and their families. This year's event was held on April 22nd, 1999 and was generously supported by The Rider-BTI Travel Group (Event Sponsor) and CIBC Wood Gundy Children's Miracle Foundation (Reception Sponsor). The winner of this year's event was AGF Management. Previous winners include McKinsey & Company (1994), Toronto Dominion Bank (1995), Nesbitt Burns (1996), RBC Dominion Securities (1997), and McCarthy Tetrault (1998)

When you think of your typical charity event, a ride on a Harley Davidson doesn't spring to mind. But the CAP Motorcycle Ride has hundred of riders, travelling from all over Southern Ontario to a selected community. Joined by political, social and business leaders, CAP is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the fight against child abuse. Invest in Kids Foundation is an active participant in the organization of the event and the primary recipient of funds raised.
