Get Set For Life: Making the Most of Your Child's First Five Years - is a national multimedia public education campaign to support parents and caregivers of young children with the latest information on early child development. The campaign's objective is to educate and support parents and caregivers in their efforts to ensure the healthy development of children from birth to five years of age.

Get Set For Life was created because new research on early child development has confirmed that the first five years are extremely important in laying the foundation for the rest of a child's life. Parents, Grandparents Aunts, Uncles and Caregivers are all partners in providing a nurturing, stimulating environment for our young children, and Get Set For Life shows how to help.
Who's 'behind' Get Set For Life?
Invest in Kids, CBC Television, and Canadian Living Magazine play a joint leadership role in the development of the campaign. Unilever Canada (through their Sunlight and Lipton products), and Health Canada, support the campaign.
