Get Set For Life: Making the Most of Your Child's First Five Years - is a national multi-media public education campaign to support parents and caregivers of young children with the latest information on early child development. The campaign's objective is to educate and support parents and caregivers in their efforts to ensure the healthy development of children from birth to five years of age.

Why was Get Set For Life Created?
Get Set For Life was created because there was increasing scientific evidence on brain development supporting the importance of a child's early experiences on the rest of his/her life. Early brain development has a significant impact on the social, emotional and intellectual development of a child. The evidence also supported that parents, and a child's other primary caregivers, played an enormous role in shaping these experiences.
Who's 'behind' Get Set For Life?
Invest in Kids, CBC Television, and Canadian Living Magazine play a joint leadership role in the development of the campaign. Unilever Canada (through their Sunlight and Lipton products), Health Canada, support the campaign.
