We all want the best for our children. We want them to be happy and productive. We want them to be smart and confident. We want them to live lives full of purpose and meaning and promise.

Invest in Kids Foundation is dedicated to promoting the healthy development of children aged zero to five.

 An explosion of scientific knowledge has shown us that these are the miracle years – the time of greatest human development. That's because most of brain development actually occurs after birth – much of it before age five. So when kids are stimulated and nurtured, played with and cooed at, held and soothed, they have a far better chance of developing into productive, compassionate and confident adults.

      As a result, Invest in Kids has set the following goals:

• To enhance the understanding of healthy child development between the ages of 0-5.
• To create a climate of support for healthy child development for all Canadian children.
• To motivate adoption of best practices and policies to ensure the most effective development of our children.

      The Foundation is working towards these goals through research, public education and awareness, and training.
