Get Set for Life

Entertaining families and providing trusted, positive development for both children and parents – through the partnership with Kids’ CBC, Invest in Kids and Canadian Living Magazine, Get Set For Life is a national Public education campaign that brings television, magazines and the internet together as a fun and informative source for parenting support.

With the help of the animated Zap Family, the campaign’s ambassadors, Get Set For Life brings the Comfort, Play & Teach messages to life in several ways.

Kids' CBC is a morning programming block just for kids and their parents that features entertaining, educational television programming – commercial-free. Preschoolers are encouraged to be creative and optimistic, solve problems, get along with others and, above all, have fun! Between shows, the hosts on Kids' CBC model behaviour and develop a positive relationship with children that encourages them to face life with enthusiasm and confidence. The Zap Family, through animated family moments, also provide real-life examples to encourage parents in their toughest job – parenting. Kids' CBC is all about letting children take the lead and explore their world, while feeling secure and confident enough to do so.

Kids' CBC airs weekdays from 7-noon, Saturdays from 6-noon, and Sundays from 6am-8am.
