Comfort, Play & Teach Centre Tour

The Comfort, Play & Teach Centre Tour

The Comfort, Play & Teach Centre™ is a portable, interactive play environment that frequently visits different locations across the country. From consumer shows to country fairs, from shopping malls to arenas, if you can name a type of space chances are the Comfort, Play & Teach Centre has been there.

The colourful, larger than life components always draw attention from children and adults alike. Sponsoring a Comfort, Play & Teach Centre tour is a great vehicle for direct consumer contact, but also enjoys the added combination of both philanthropic goodwill and consumer education.

Over the past few years, we have executed Centre tours for Capital One Canada, Scotiabank Group and in partnership with Kids' CBC as a component of the Get Set For Life tour.

Stay tuned for new dates and locations to be announced!

Tour History

Capital One, a long-standing Partner in Parenting, generously provided funding for the Comfort, Play & Teach Centre to visit a number of communities across Canada. Beginning the first week of November 2008, the Centre made tour stops in each of the following cities - London, Hamilton, Richmond, and Winnipeg - before wrapping up in early December.

In April 2008, Capital One sponsored the creation of their very own Comfort, Play & Teach Centre, as well as a tour at Avalon Mall and Mile One Centre in St. John's, NFLD, as part of the TYLENOL® Players' Championship, the eighth and final leg of the 2007-2008 Capital One Grand Slam of Curling series. Capital One previously brought the Centre to Atlantic Canada in the fall of 2006 and to Calgary, Alberta in the summer of 2007.

A long standing Partner in Parenting, Scotiabank is dedicated to being a socially responsible corporation and maintains this mission through their involvement with Invest in Kids and our Comfort, Play & Teach Centre™.

It was a wonderful day at the Bayfield Mall in Barrie on March 14, and the Comfort, Play & Teach Centre™ was enjoyed by many.

The Centre is a mobile effort to encourage parents to make the most of everyday moments with their child.

The three parenting actions of Comfort, Play & Teach work together to generate responses from children that transform everyday interactions from the ordinary to the extraordinary.

By engaging in play time with their child, parents learn to recognize and support the uniqueness of their child, motivate their child to be all that he can be and establish the foundation of a lifelong warm and respectful relationship.
